A primary mission of AACVB is to provide quality educational opportunities for its members. The association will hold seminars, workshops and conferences for the sole purpose of developing better employees in the CVB field. Educational seminars, geared for executive officers and staff members from bureaus of all sizes are designed to improve bureau operations. Also commission trainings are available for better boards in Arkansas.
Idea Exchange/Networking
Many opportunities are available for members to network with other members in the industry. Meetings, seminars and conferences are all structured for opportunities for idea exchanges. Networking in the tourism industry is important and is a focus of most meetings.
Resources
AACVB is forming resource materials for CVB's to use. The materials will include topics that are valuable to the operation of a first-class CVB.
